It’s time to stop stealing from our kid’s future & start paying down the skyrocketing Illinois debt. We can’t afford to the IL legislature to recklessly & irresponsibly waste our tax dollars.
The best way to combat inflation, improve the economy and make things more affordable is to put more money back in the pockets of workers and families. This could be accomplished by providing tax relief and incentivizing businesses to create jobs & better salaries. Government policies should encourage, not impede, small business growth.
I support a common-sense, diversified approach to domestic energy production that includes nuclear power, clean coal, oil, natural gas production and renewable energy production (i.e., solar, wind). The goal is to ensure energy independence & security, reliable energy service and more stable & affordable prices.
Government’s reckless spending and increasing debt is worsening inflation, making basic necessities (e.g., food, fuel, clothing) more expensive for people. It’s time for government to responsibly operate within a budget, get inflation under control and make it more affordable to live & raise a family.
I oppose giving illegal immigrants taxpayer-funded benefits (e.g., unemployment benefits, welfare, legal representation). These expenses place unwarranted stress on our taxpayer-funded safety net programs designed for American citizens; it also encourages more illegal immigration.
We have a crisis at the US/Mexico border including rampant illegal immigration & drug/human trafficking. The federal government needs to take immediate action to resolve this (e.g., continue boarder wall construction) to prevent illegal activities and strengthen our national security.
I oppose the current federal policy of secretly relocating illegal immigrants into cities and towns around the country, including Illinois.
I support deporting gang members, drug dealers and violent criminals who are not American citizens.
I believe schools should be more open & transparent, so parents are better informed and have more say over their children’s education.
I support preventing political or social indoctrination of students in public schools and requiring schools to get back to teaching the basics (e.g., reading, writing, math).
I support equal opportunity in education that doesn’t punish students by forcing them to attend a struggling or failing government-run school. Instead, Illinois should provide tuition funds to parents, allowing them to choose where to send their children (i.e., private, church-run, public charter school).
I support raising education standards in public schools including expanding gifted, talented and honors programs.
I support tougher penalties for criminals who commit theft, property destruction, and violent or sexual crimes.
I oppose radical prosecutors who refuse to enforce laws designed to protect residential & business property. Prosecutors should be forced to do their job & actually prosecute criminals, instead of letting them go free without facing any justice for shop lifting, robbery and car theft.
Combating crime and drugs starts with fully-funding law enforcement. These funds are essential to ensure police receive appropriate training and all the necessary resources to keep us safe.
I believe transgender females who were born male should be banned from competing in female sports. Transgender female athletes like Lia Thomas, the swimmer from the university of Pennsylvania, who compete and win in female athletic sports have an unfair advantage and take away opportunities from biological females who want a level playing field in their sport.
Infanticide is the act of deliberately causing the death of a newborn child. I will fight to block extreme legislation that essentially legalizes infanticide. I will oppose decriminalizing and protecting parents & medical staff from any criminal or civil liability for the death of newborn babies (up to 28-days after birth) in their care, even if the death is declared suspicious.
